How To Start A Cut Flower Garden This Spring

1. Get familiar with the light in your yard.  Most cut flowers need full sun in order to thrive!

2. Study a few plants and learn which varieties you love best.  Some popular cut flowers are zinnias, sunflowers, and cosmos.

3. Understand your local climate and zone. Certain plants will grow best in your specific area!

4. Prep the soil.  You need well draining, rich soil for most flower.  But a few can thrive in poor soil.
