HOW TO HARVEST SUNFLOWER SEEDS TO EAT

At the end of the season, sunflowers finish their life cycle by creating beautiful seeds.

These seeds are edible and full of nutrients and sunflower seeds are easy to harvest.

Sunflower seeds can easily be pulled out of the sunflower head for eating.

They can then be dried and eaten, or saved to plant next spring!

There are a few signs that show your sunflower seed head is ripe.

The back of the head should be yellow with brown spots, or completely brown.
