How To Deadhead Pansies

Pansies are gorgeous flowers that bloom in cooler months of fall and early spring.

There are many benefits to keeping these gorgeous fall flowers deadheaded.

Removing, or pinching, spent flowers helps keep the plant healthy.

Deadheading also encourages the plant to produce more blooms.

First identify the spent flowers. Don't accidentally cut off new blooms!

Deadhead flowers every 5-7 days for best results and lots of blooms.

Next remove the flower at the right spot- do NOT remove just the top of the flower (flower head).
