HOW TO DEADHEAD ZINNIA FLOWERS

Zinnias are prolific bloomers that flower all summer.

Deadheading, (also called pinching), zinnias will result in a fuller, bushier plant with more blooms.

Removing spent flowers will also give you a healthier looking plant!

Deadheading zinnias is really easy- even your kids can remove spent zinnia flowers!

You need  a sharp pair of garden clippers and some gloves to properly deadhead.

Remove the spent flower in the right spot (don't just cut off the head!).

Check your zinnia plant daily for spent blooms, especially in late summer-early fall.
