How To Roast Pumpkin Seeds

Don't let your halloween seeds go to waste. Learn how to properly roast pumpkin seeds to store and eat right here.

After you scoop out your seeds, run the pumpkin pulp and pumpkin seeds under cool water and separate the two.

Do you see how the seeds pictured here are moldy?  This is because they weren't dried properly.....

After rinsing, we are going to use a double dry method to get all of the moisture out and prevent mold.

First set  your pumpkin seeds out in a flat layer to dry over night.

The next day, we'll use our second drying method to thoroughly roast the seeds for eating and storing.

Once completed, these seeds will store for three months in an air tight container- or a year in the freezer!
