How To Overwinter Dahlias

Dahlias are gorgeous flowers that bloom from summer to fall.

Depending on your zone, dahlias may be overwintered in the ground.

In zones 8-10 dahlias can typically survive the winter with just a little mulch.

In colder zones dahlias must be dug up and properly stored for the next season.

You will want to make sure to very gently dig up your dahlia tuber + store it properly.
